Child Watch - Infants 3-5 Months Old

In an effort to provide the safest environment for infants ages 3-5 months, they may be accommodated only between the hours of 12:00pm-4:00pm Monday-Friday. Because of limited space, reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance.

To make a reservation, call Adlin Rodriguez at 610-258-6158 ext. 23.

Child Watch Safety Features

Safety comes first for our children and Child Watch has implemented several security features to keep children safe. Access to the Child Watch room is through a keypad lock. Each parent is assigned a unique code to gain entry to the Child Watch room. The same parent that drops off the child must pick up the child. When a child is dropped off, the parent must complete a sign-in process. The sign-in process records information such as time of drop off, parents’ last name, child’s first name and the location of the parent in the Family YMCA in case of an emergency. The parent and the child will also receive a matching wristbands. Parents are required to remain in the building while their child is in Child Watch at all times.

The Child Watch room is divided into different areas to cater to your child’s interest. We have an infant section with toys and activities geared toward that age group. Toddlers and older children will enjoy coloring, puzzles and other activities at the craft table. During the months of June, July and August, we offer the Summer Fun Club (SFC) to children ages 6 through Grade 4. This program is held weekday mornings from 8.30am until 12.00pm. The Summer Fun Club is available in a separate room from Child Watch. Summer Fun Club kids will participate in age appropriate activities and crafts.

We look forward to seeing you in Child Watch!
