Group Exercise Punch Card Policies and Procedures:
Punch cards can be purchased at the Welcome Center. Participants may choose classes on any day or time. Space is limited and will be honored on a first come, first served basis. Punch cards expire 90 days after purchase date. All cards should be purchased 24 hours before expected use.
 
Program Studio Tips

• Abdominal, gluteal, inner-outer thigh exercises and the use of light weights will be up to the discretion of each instructor.

• To avoid class interruptions, please arrive ten minutes prior to class time to setup any equipment necessary for the class. Doors will close once class begins.

• The Family YMCA reserves the right to cancel and/or change a class without notice due to unforeseen circumstances.

• Instructors are subject to change without notice.

• Refer to the Program Studio Bulletin Board for all current class offerings.

• Program Studio capacity is thirty (30) participants.

Indoor Cycling is an exercise program that utilizes a specially designed stationary bicycle and a series of cycling movements providing the participant with both a physical and mental workout. The Schwinn bike is designed to mimic an outdoor bicycle ride. Punch cards may be redeemed in any class listed on the Indoor Cycling schedule.

PERSONAL TRAINING CLASSES

The following classes are offered by Personal Trainer, Heather Lohman.

 

Summer Biathlon

Test your inner athlete! Are you looking for a challenge? Experience this new class offering...two new activities each week which can include anything from indoor cycling, running, boot camp and core conditioning. Meet in Cycling Studio. Class limit: 10.

Days/Times: Wednesdays; 9:00am-10:00am

Date: July 7-28, 2010

Fees: Member - $25.00; Non-Member: $45.00

 

Women in Weights (Beginner)

This class is ideal for women who are not familiar with the benefits of weight training for your overall fitness goals. Learn proper techniques and exercises you can use on your own to begin healthy living. Improve your strength, endurance, and bone density. Meet in Cycling Studio. Class limit: 8

Days/Times: Thursdays; 10:15am-11:00am

Date: August 5 - 19, 2010 (no class August 26)

Fees: Member - $20.00; Non-Member: $35.00

 

Women in Weights (Intermediate/Advanced)

Your already use weight training as part of your exercise routine. Proper techniques are reinforced and new exercises will challenge your fitness level. Improve your strength, endurance and bone density. Meet in Cycling Studio. Class limit: 8

Days/Times: Thursdays; 10:15am-11:00am

Date: July 8 - 29, 2010

Fees: Member - $25.00; Non-Member - $45.00

 

Kettle Bell Version of Women In Weights (Beginner)

Work in a small group environment with our Personal Trainer, Heather Lohman, to learn how the use of the Kettle Bells can provide a total body workout. This class will prepare you for a more comfortable transition into a full length Kettle Bell class. Meet in Cycling Studio. Class limit: 8.

Days/Times: Wednesdays; 9:00am-9:45am

Date: August 4 - 18, 2010 (no class August 25)

Fees: Member - $20.00; Non-Member - $35.00
