SUMMER GYMNASTICS CAMP

Gymnastics Camp will focus on developing dance and gymnastics skills for the beginning gymnast through the intermediate gymnast. Students will learn basic moves to help increase their balance, coordination, and flexibility. In addition to floor work, each day will focus on a piece of apparatus to build skills on the bars, beam, and vault. Lastly, it promises to be fun!

Ages 4-6 (9:30am-11:00am)

Students will also work on proper gymnastics progressions beginning with basic skills such as forward and backward rolls, head stands, hand stands, cartwheels and backbends.

AGes 7 and up (11:00am-12:30pm)

Students should be able to do basic gymnastic skills. Students will also work on more advanced skills such as round-offs and walkovers in the proper progression.

The Family YMCA is now forming a non-competitive Youth Summer Basketball League for boys and girls ages 9-17. Kids will be split up into appropriate age groups and gender (younger players may be co-ed). Volunteer coaches and referees needed.

Coaches meeting on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 7:00pm.

Saturdays between 9:00am-1:00pm

YOUTH FALL SOCCER PROGRAM

(Ages 4-10)

Boys and girls in our recreational soccer program learn skill development, good sportsmanship, and team tactics in a low-competition, fun environment. Games are played on Saturdays at V7 Soccer Fields Palmer Township between 9:00am-2:00pm. Practices are held on weeknights as determined by coaches. Team t-shirts and equipment are provided. Shin guards are mandatory (must provide own). Volunteers are needed to coach or be a team parent.

Fees on or before August 21, 2010:

Member - $51.00; Non-Member - $89.00

Fees on or after August 22, 2010:
